What is the Notification Center?

The notification center houses all of the alerts and notifications that are sent to you in the Wellbeing+ app.

Many notifications that show in the notification center are also available to you as push notifications, which will display on your mobile device when you do not have the Wellbeing+ app open. The notification center, on the other hand, is available within the Wellbeing+ app itself to help organize important alerts. To ensure you do not miss out on any important updates or information when using Wellbeing+, you cannot disable any notifications from showing within the center.

How to Access the Notification Center

  1. From your mobile dashboard, select the menu bars in the top left corner. A red dot next to the menu bars indicates you have unread notifications within the center.

  2. Select Notification Center, indicated by a bell icon. A red dot will also show here next to the bell icon to indicate that you have unread notifications within the center.

  3. In the center, you’ll see a list view of all notifications you’ve received within the past month, along with a time stamp telling you when each notification was sent. All notifications will be ordered from most recent to oldest.

Types of Notifications

Depending on what features your organization has enabled for your account and what you are participating in, you might receive notifications from any of the following categories:

Challenges (Invitations, Virtual race progress*)

Content Posts

Friends

Monthly Step Goal

*Note that you will receive both progress updates (50% and 100% completion) and notifications when you unlock a new milestone(s) for Virtual Race challenges. If you unlock multiple milestones and progress achievements at the same time, we will only show the progress achievement in the center to avoid sending you too many notifications simultaneously.

Using the Notification Center

  1. When you open the center, you’ll see the most recent notifications at the top. Notifications automatically filter from newest to oldest, and all notifications automatically delete after 1 month.

  2. Every notification will be appear as unread when it first displays in the center. Unread notifications will have a light blue background. Once a notification has been read, the background will change to white.

  3. To read a notification, simply tap on it. This will navigate you to the relevant update or action within the Wellbeing+ app.

  4. If you want to navigate back to the notification center after viewing a notification, simple click the back arrow in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

  5. Once you have tapped on a notification to view it, it will mark as read and the background color will change to white in the notification center.

  6. You can also tap the “Mark all as read” button to mark every notification within the center as read without clicking on each one individually.
